Say hello to Launchwise connector Daisy Nguyen.
Daisy is a lifelong entrepreneur. As images of Barbies and GI JOE ran through the heads of her fellow playmates, Daisy saw business models and opportunities every where. Born from a long line of powerful women entrepreneurs, Daisy credits her mother and grandmother for infusing the entrepreneurial flame within her.
Daisy is founder and currently runs two sister companies:
RENT SODA – a business consulting firm specializing in the property management & real estate industry. This has been Daisy’s baby for the past 5 years, helping both small and large management firms across the nation.
PAX CONNEX – a recruiting firm specializing in the property management, real estate development, education, government and non-profit sectors. Pax Connex opened for business in April of 2013 due to the overwhelming client demands/requests for recruiting services. Businesses want to hire and retain quality, experienced people.
Daisy’s passion and interest in helping people, understanding people, and connecting people are not only evident in her lines of business, but her intense desire to continually meet new people and hear their stories – one of her primary reasons for starting Launchwise with co-founders, Dara Beevas and Sam Ingram. Launchwise is the love child of years of feeling lonely as an entrepreneur and the need to connect with others.
Daisy is originally from the Detroit area, and a transplant to the Minneapolis area. She’s a board member of Aeon, a non-profit affordable housing developer/manager in the twin cities and Minneapolis Public Housing Authority (MPHA), the largest landlord in Minneapolis. Daisy is a mother to two kids in college, and loves a boxer named Jazz. In her spare time, Daisy is working on two books centered around two of her passions – business and sci-fi.
Favorite Place in the World:
My mom’s closet. As a child, my mom worked so much, and whenever I missed her, I would go and sit in her closet. My mom’s closet smelled of lovely perfumes. The warm textures, colors and vibrant prints of her clothes reflected her unique, fun, loving personality. Wrapping myself in her scarves and sitting in the midst of her collection of beautiful shoes was the next best thing to having her next to me. To this day, whenever I am getting dressed in my closet, I think of her.
Favorite Sci-Fi Book:
The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. My favorite book in that series was the Wizard and the Glass.

Favorite Advice for Entrepreneurs:
If you’re obsessing about it – then you need to do it. Put together a plan. Tackle your fears and obstacles head-on and EARLY on. Once you overcome those, the rest is easy.
